Who We Are

EmpoweredUth, EduConnect (EUEC) is a non-profit organization founded by high school students in Oakville, dedicated to providing educational support, resources, and opportunities to young immigrants in Canada. We focus on creating an inclusive community where students can thrive academically and develop essential life skills. Through engaging programs and hands-on activities, we help students grow in areas like leadership, creativity, and problem-solving, building confidence and a sense of belonging.

    At EmpoweredUth, EduConnect (EUEC), we have proudly helped over 700 kids through our diverse educational programs. Our events have received overwhelmingly positive feedback, highlighting the impact and value of our efforts. We are dedicated to continuing this mission and empowering even more young minds with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

  • 100+ Lessons and Events Hosted

    At EmpoweredUth, EduConnect (EUEC), we have hosted over 100 lessons and events, both online and in person. Our programs are designed to be accessible and flexible, catering to the diverse needs of our students. We strive to provide high-quality educational experiences that inspire and empower young learners, whether they join us virtually or attend our in-person sessions.

  • 600+ hours of volunteer

    We have dedicated over 600 hours to preparing and volunteering, which includes organizing meetings, preparing educational materials, conducting classes, holding summary sessions, reflecting on our progress, and providing detailed reflection summaries for parents to ensure they are well-informed and engaged in their child's learning journey.

Our Mission

At EmpoweredUth, EduConnect (EUEC), our mission is to empower young immigrants in Canada to succeed and feel at home in their new community. We aim to provide a supportive environment where students can build not only their academic skills but also a foundation for personal growth, leadership, and creativity.

Through our programs, we help students become confident problem-solvers, thoughtful leaders, and active participants in their communities. Together, we strive to foster a sense of belonging and equip young people with the tools they need to excel in all aspects of life.

  • We primarily support children and students from grades 1-8, providing them with the resources and guidance they need to succeed in their educational journey. Our focus is on young immigrants and newcomers, helping them integrate smoothly into their new communities and thrive academically and socially.

  • We believe in a holistic approach to education and support, ensuring that each student receives personalized attention and care. Our programs are designed to:

    Encourage Friendships: Building a sense of community and belonging.

    Promote Personal Growth: Helping students develop confidence and self-esteem.

    Support Families: Engaging parents and guardians in the educational process to create a supportive home environment.

Programs We Offer

At EUEC, we are committed to nurturing young minds by providing a diverse range of programs tailored to meet the unique needs and interests of our community. From academic mentorship to hands-on leadership experiences, our programs empower young people to learn, grow, and thrive.

  • Our mentorship program offers group lessons and one-on-one sessions in subjects like English, STEM, Arts, and Music. Students receive personalized support to boost their academic skills, explore interests, and prepare for future success.

  • Hosted offline during holidays, these events feature a range of fun activities like arts and crafts, games, and cultural celebrations. They provide a great opportunity for students and families to connect, learn, and enjoy festive moments together.

  • Our programs encourage young leaders to think creatively and take initiative. Through unique challenges, like starting a business with just $5, children learn leadership, entrepreneurship, and teamwork skills in a hands-on environment.
