At EmpoweredUth, EduConnect (EUEC), our tutoring program is led by high school students who are passionate about teaching and helping younger students succeed.

We understand how important it is to get a strong foundation in subjects like math, science, reading, and languages, which is why we offer free tutoring to students in grades 1-8.

Our tutors are here to provide the support and guidance needed for younger students to thrive in their education.

How Our Free High School Tutoring Works

  • When you sign up, you (or your parents) can explore different subject blocks, such as Math, Science, Public Speaking, and more. Inside each block, you can choose specific subjects like:

    • Math: Regular schoolwork or competitive math...

    • Public Speaking: Debate, presentations...

    • Science: Homework help or advanced topics...

  • Depending on the subject, tutoring will either be one-on-one or group-based:

    • Group Lessons: For subjects like Debate, Book Talk, and Public Speaking, we offer group workshops. These lessons typically happen at set times (e.g., every Sunday from 2-4 PM) and can be either online or offline, depending on the activity. You’ll be given the schedule and can sign up based on your availability.

    • One-on-One Lessons: For more individualized help, like school homework assistance in Math, you can choose one-on-one tutoring. We’ll match you with a tutor, and together you’ll find a time that works for both of you. This option is more flexible, allowing for personalized attention.

    • Most of our tutoring takes place online, allowing students to learn from home with ease. However, some group workshops and events, such as Book Clubs or specialized courses, may be hosted offline.

  • Throughout the tutoring program, our tutors will monitor each student’s progress, ensuring they are improving and building confidence. For group lessons, there will be assessments to gauge learning, and for one-on-one tutoring, you’ll receive personalized feedback after each session.
